About ITF-14
ITF-14 is a carton-level barcode for GTIN-14 values, commonly printed on corrugated shipping cases. It includes bearer bars to reduce scanning errors.
Enter 13 digits and the generator adds the Mod-10 check digit, or supply a valid 14-digit value. Do not remove the bearer bars when printing.
Practical implementation notes
ITF-14 is normally used on an outer case rather than the individual retail item. The number represents the carton-level GTIN. Keep the full bearer-bar frame, do not crop the quiet zones, and validate the carton label after applying it to corrugated board.
