About Code 128
Code 128 is a high-density linear barcode that encodes the full ASCII character set. It is a practical choice for inventory identifiers, logistics labels, order references and internal operations.
Keep strong contrast and quiet space at both ends of the bars. Test the final printed size with the scanners used in your workflow.
Practical implementation notes
Before production, scan a printed sample with the same hardware that will be used in the real workflow. Check the encoded value, quiet zones, contrast and physical size. A barcode that looks sharp on screen can still fail after low-resolution or reflective printing.
