How to Create ITF-14 Shipping Carton Barcodes

ITF-14 is used to identify shipping cartons and outer cases in supply chains. Its boxed bearer bars help it scan reliably on corrugated materials and in logistics environments. The barcode image is simple to generate, but the carton number must be based on the correct trade-item data.

Use ITF-14 for outer cases

ITF-14 typically identifies a case that contains retail units. It is not usually the code shown on an individual consumer product. Confirm the carton configuration and numbering rules with your trading partners or product-data provider.

Prepare the 14-digit value
